The donor area is identified and numbed with local anesthetic.
Hair follicles are extracted from the donor area and preserved for the graft.
Follicles are preserved for the graft in a solution of platelet-rich-plasma.
Once sufficient follicles for the graft have been extracted, the donor area is cleaned and bandaged.
The surgeon identifies and marks the treatment area with the patient.
The extracted follicles are injected into the treatment area.
Once the area is populated with follicles, the surgeon cleans the area, and reviews after-care with the patient.
